In a partnership with the USDA, The United Way, and the Merced Food Bank, UC Merced is offering a monthly food assistance program to all UC Merced students, faculty, and staff members who have a need for additional assistance. This program is free and provides participants with a monthly food allotment.
Sign-ups are due by July 17th at 5pm. For more information, visit the Food Pantry homepage.
Come to the farm and pick delicious strawberries from 7 am to 2 pm on Sunday, 5/28.
Campus offices will be closed.
UC Merced is partnering with the Merced County Fair to help fight hunger as part of Mercy Medical Center’s “We Care Wednesday” Community Food Drive.
This year’s food drive will be held on the fair's opening day, Wednesday, June 7. Those who bring five or more cans of food to any Merced County Fair entrance between 5 and 7 p.m. will gain free admission to the fair. All food collected will be donated to the Merced County Food Bank.

Mark UC's 1st Global Poverty Action Day with Building Bridges in Merced. Sponsored by the Student Action Committee for the Eradication of Poverty and Inequality (SACEPI) and UC Merced Public Health Society, UC students, faculty and community members will engaged in conversations on how to address common issues related to poverty and inequality.
