Join the Blum Center in welcoming special guest speaker Dr. Craig Cohen for a research talk "Sustainable Development Research to Advance Global Health: a case study from Kenya" 

Dr. Cohen is the co-director of the University of California Global Health Institute and Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF. Since 1994 he has co-directed the collaboration with the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) to advance the study of HIV and its intersection with reproductive health. 

Join the Blum Center, Health Promotions, Sustainabilty and other campus partners in a day celebrating UC as the healthiest place to work, learn and live. Find our information fair outside KL, snack on "root to stem" cooking and sign up for activities and tours throughout the day.

UC Merced Undergraduates! Apply now for our 2018 Summer Institute, an intenstive one week course on Agriculture in the Central Valley.

Meals, transportation and a $250 stipend will be provided.  

UC Merced Dining and Housing, in partnership with the Blum Center and CropMobster Merced, will be hosting a free screening of Anthony Bourdain’s Wasted! The Story of Food Waste documentary on March 7th, 7pm at the Merced Theatre at 301 W. Main Street.

The Good Food Showcase is a trade show and networking event that connects institutional buyers to growers and distributors throughout the Bay Area and across California. Attending the event will give you access to many sources of CA grown, sustainable produce, meats, grains and other products for your cafeteria. 

This is the event of the year for expanding, celebrating, and connecting to the good food movement across our communities.

The eighth North American edition of the Sustainable Foods Summit will feature organic & eco-labels, sustainable ingredients, and health impacts. The executive summit will take place in San Francisco on 30-31st January 2018. It comprises four dedicated sessions over two days. 

Campus offices will be closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
