UC Merced Dining and Housing, in partnership with the Blum Center and CropMobster Merced, will be hosting a free screening of Anthony Bourdain’s Wasted! The Story of Food Waste documentary on March 7th, 7pm at the Merced Theatre at 301 W. Main Street.
Be sure to stop by Coffee Bandits and the 17th Street Public House before the movie to sample some free treats featuring “ugly produce” and “spent grain”. We will also have some samples of “Crumb Trail Ale” being offered at the pub, a beer that was brewed with some of the surplus bread from UC Merced Dining facility.
